Land Buying Guide and FAQs
Here at KNB Land we want to make the selling process as simple and stress free as possible. This will ensure confidence and clarity throughout the process. The five step process is detailed below.
Step #1: Submit Land Details
If you would like to move forward in the selling process, KNB Land Company would like to know a couple details to properly generate an offer. Click on Submit Property on the menu above. If you have already received an offer letter and would like to propose a counter offer, please click on Submit Property on the menu above to submit your counter offer. If you are unsure about about the process, do not hesitate to give us a call. We will guide you through the process to ensure a great experience.
Step #2: Review Cash Offer
After we have time to properly review your property, we will send a cash offer for your consideration.
Step #3: Sign Purchase Agreement
If the offer is acceptable, sign the the purchase agreement and return it to us. Once we receive the agreement, we will immediately begin working on your transaction.
Step #4: Closing
Once the purchase agreement has been completed, we will work with an independent title company/real estate attorney within the area to coordinate the sale. Our goal is to process the closing quickly and efficiently.
Step #5: Payment
The title company coordinates all documentation preparation for closing. Once contracts are signed, payment is issued!
FAQs
How do I know this isn't a scam?
This is a very common question, and no this is not a scam. We use independent title companies/real estate attorneys so you can be assured that the process and offers are legitimate. This is the same process used to buy/sell your house.

Are the offers all cash?
Yes, all of our offers are paid in cash. This means that at the time of the closing, you will receive your payment in cash. This will be handled through an independent title company/real estate attorney. These funds can be transferred to you in your preferred payment method.
Do I have to do anything to my property?
No. We intend to purchase all properties "as is". We complete due diligence to understand the state of the land that we are interested in purchasing.
I've never been to this property, does that change anything?
No. We are still interested in purchasing the property even if you have never seen it yourself. Through our tailored due diligence process, we will find out all the information we need in order to make a decision on purchasing the land. We do appreciate any and all information that property owners are able to give us. If you have additional parcels you are interested in selling, please let us know.
Is there a cost for your services?
No. Once we agree on a purchase price, all fees associated with the transaction will be covered by KNB Land.
How fast is the process?
As soon as the title company can process the paperwork, we are able to close. Typically this will take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. There may be instances where the process can be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, but we will work through these together as they arise. It is our top priority to streamline this process.
How do I accept?
There are several ways to accept an offer:
Mail: If you received a purchase agreement in the mail, please signed the agreement and mail it to the return address listed on the agreement.
Email: Sign the purchase agreement, take a picture of the agreement with your phone, then email it to [email protected]
Digital Signing: Contact Us and we will send you a purchase agreement that is able to be signed through digital software with your digital signature.
Will you negotiate your offer price?
Yes! We would love to hear your feedback regarding your offer. Our offers are derived from analysis of your land and the market which your land is located in. Offer prices vary based on the attributes of the land such as road access, wetlands, and slope of the land. If there are details of the property that you would like to discuss that may change the offer price, please submit our counter offer form here.
Will you buy numerous properties from me?
Of course! Depending on how our due diligence goes on those other properties we would definitely be interested in purchasing other properties. If this is the case give us a call/utilize our contact button to schedule a meeting with us, we would love to go over the properties with you!
